Clip in coil curl hair extensions DO NOT CLIP IN

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I usually love my Indique hair and have had weave installs for years and have been extremely satisfied. I have purchased mostly from the Bounce collection and love it. No problems at all with shedding and have used it over and over at least 3 time’s over. As long as you take care of it - it’s great. I have also encouraged my friends to purchase this hair. The BIG BUT- I ordered Bounce coil curl CLIP-INS for the first time this past summer of 2019. The first set came and the clips kept popping open - because the clips were not sewn in properly. However, customer service was great and sent me a new set without any issue. Unfortunately, this new set did the same thing. Many of the clips kept popping open which was very frustrating. I eventually had to remove all of the clips (and I was not able to wear the clip ins until I replaced them) and only then did the clip ins close and remain closed correctly. I am surprised that Indique sent me clip ins - TWICE - at a cost of almost $200 for a bundle - and yet whomever sewed in the clips did not know what they were doing. But still love the hair - Just did not think I had to remedy the faulty sew in of the clips.

One would think that a beauty supply shop would have a warming and friendly customer service... not in the Silver Spring, MD! It’s almost like they are unhappy you walked in the door. I have bought many weaves for clients and my self for a while. I took back a defective hair and the receipt for return. A manager came from the back after 20 minutes with an annoyed attitude. I explained the problem and asked for a return or exchange as the weave was shedding and was defective. She took the weave in the back and after 30 minutes came back, she agreed it was defective but said they head no way of knowing where I got it from and that I couldn't get anything although they can see the receipt, tag, tube it came in. The employees had no customer service experience, minimal knowledge of the product, the sell as well as policy, if you have bought a defective hair... you are simply out of luck and lost your money! STAY AWAY FROM INDIQUE HAIR!!!

Chakan wig

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I had my daughter purchase the chakan wig for 599.00 to 600.00 dollar the wig should not shred for the amount of money paid .it is the closure wig . I have purchase hair many times from indique and it has shred but after all it is not real hair even natural hair will shred . But for the price I think it should be better quality for the chakan wig.

I love Indique Hair

I have visited them a lot of the times so I can say that it is one of my favorite Hair Place to get my Hair Extensions and Wigs as they have amazing quality plus my favorite part is that the hair has very natural shine( not like those weird shiny wigs) plus the shedding is pretty minimal even after I colored the hair! Would definitely recommend others.

Just... DONT

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I started buying with indique in 2016. The quality was top notch, in hindsight now that I don’t use this hair I can say in its best state the hair shedded a lot. This summer i installed a 16” curly hair that literally would mat and tangle within minutes. They didn’t want to issue a refund so I sent it back for “testing” where they said it had have product. LOL uhh cause I was trying to figure out a way to get this hair to look presentable. The quality is trash, and it’s a risk

Indique Hair - This company is a scam
Indique Hair - This company is a scam - Image 2
As I am currently getting my Brazilian Knots installed by their PURE straight collection, I am immediately regretting not purchasing the hair from my hair stylist. The quality of the hair is SO bad and on top of that, the hair that I paid for was 22 inches and there are a mix of hairs that are in 15 inches of length. A lot of stray hair needed to be taken off because the ends of the hairs are so thin and straggly. This company is a total scam and they use a bunch of short hair with the long hair so it only looks fuller in the container. I purchased 2 bundles and the outcome of my extensions were equivalent to one bundle. Super disappointed in their company and will defiantly not recommend their hair to any of my friends or family.

The hair that I purchased and receive on August 2 was placed in my hair on Saturday August 10th is already shedding. If the hair continues shedding I will have to have it removed. I never had this problem with your products before and I would like to know what are you going to do about it.

This hair is horrible worst quality bad cheap useless shredded matted tangled shedding. Do not buy sales associates suck they don’t answer the phone barely emails.

I’m highly disappointed. Sneaky deceptive janky company. I purchased nine bundles and they were all horrible. I filed a complaint with my bank and they had the nerve, to kick back my charge back and say that I didn’t return the hair.

When I talked to you guys you said I couldn’t not because the bands had been removed. Omg so after three days me and my mom both took it out. The hair was dry dry dry dry I mean tangled at the weft.

No one could save this hot mess. Beware ladies

Tangles and dried ends on Pure Straight Collection

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
After I had them installed, the ends revealed their true quality (dried out). Even after misting hair with Argan oil, it kept tangling with every move I made. Worse than Kenekalon fiber. I did not contact them because I know what they’ll want me to do and just know that I won’t get my money refunded!! Not good, not good at all.

The same thing happened to me just a couple weeks ago. I heard how great their hair was and saw that they had Pat Smith (Emmitt Smith's wife) as an endorser and was excited they opened a new storefront in Dallas by the Galleria ( the sales girl really knows how to bait you in) so I decided I'd purchase 2 bundles (18& 20) of the Pure Natural Wave a couple weeks ago and spent a total of $478.

Worst mistake I could have made! But NEVER AGAIN! The hair tangled after day 2 or 3 of being installed. It's very OVER PRICED for no reason.

Go to ManeMan Indian hair it's not the best but it's better quality than Indique. Why is it so hard to find Good Quality True Virgin hair for a reasonable price! I'm willing to spend the $ but want my $'s worth.

I used to get hair from Extensions Plus in LA, Cali and their bundles was TRULY the BEST I'd ever seen but even their quality is not like it used to be. If anyone knows of a place that has Good quality True Virgin hair please refer!

Over Priced and Worst Quality

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Purchased 2 bundles from new Dallas Storefront but very disappointed. The hair tangled after day 2 of the intstall. They spend too much $ on marketing when they need to find a good quality distributor or supplier instead. Presentation is a must but they are a bit overkill. But NEVER again. Wasted $500 for nothing and won't try to get refund b/c the sales girl made it clear that they don't issue refunds and you can exchange only but it can't be altered in any way well you know once you cut the tags off and it's installed that's a wrap but it was the FIRST and LAST for me!

Honestly Ladies! Don't waste your money

I purchased two bundles and a closure of the Bounce Deep Wave. What a disaster! It looked good for approximately one month. It starting matting and shedding like crazy. I did everything suggested (conditioning) by Indique for hair care but nothing worked. The curl pattern lasted for only two washes. What a rip off! I paid close to $700. I couldn't get my money back and I am still devastated! Ladies don't waste your money or time!

I recently spent the same amount for Indique Pure. The 3 containers of hair was the worst purchase ever.

I’ve been a long time customer and have had much better hair from them in the past. wouldn’t advise purchasing from the company. I feel they aren’t being honest concerning their vendor.

I believed the vendor and something has definitely changed. I’ve seen better quality lately from social media vendors.

We were able to meet an amicable resolution. As I stated, I do not believe the hair was a problem but the unit i received seemed to be damaged or bad.

Original review Jan 11, 2018
Good Afternoon, On January 11, 2017, I went into your location at Bond Street and made a purchase of the pressed straight frontal to compliment the zen straight bundles previously ordered from your organization. I went to my stylist for install and we checked the frontal which initially seemed fine and proceeded.

Due to the thickness of the hair which was flat even moving a few sections it was not possible to notice anything in its natural state. Once the install was complete, my stylist proceed to blow out the hair for styling which reveal an in-depth view of the full frontal and several sections of short choppy hairs in the middle and sides of the unit while other sides were fuller and laid like normal. The hair was styled and I was told to wrap it up at night to see if it would rectify the situation. I woke up and further looking into the frontal to inspect what the issues may be, on both sides and middle parts you can see thinness in the areas and in just 24hrs I’ve experienced a bit of shedding that was certainly not experienced with the last hairs.

I contacted your call in center this morning and spoke to Shaihiem who let me know i would need to uninstall the unit and send it to them for inspection. Following the frustrating discussion letting her know that i purchased it in store, I was told the store would have to rectify the issue. I then called the store and spoke to Taylor who was the representative present for my purchase and so far a much better representative of customer care and was told, I would need to remove the unit so they could send it to the customer care department. Which is a big circle of the same things basically.

I could not go into the store for inspection but you have a local headquarters? I live in between 2 cities and have a full travel agenda for business conferences in the next week and I am being told to take a unit out and have it mailed for an undetermined time for an inspection that may be or may not be resolved. Unfortunately that is not a feasible or reasonable request for a customer who specifically purchased a product from a local location so I would not have to deal with a company online. As a consultant and speaker, my appearance is closely representative to the services I sell and I can not just remove a unit and have no replacement in this extremely busy period of time.

At this point I am left no other option but to remove and replace the unit given these policies that have been set forth. I am contacting your team who states you stand “100%” behind your product with a request for return and reimbursement. As discussed with your sales associate, I have gone and gotten hair spray and product to try and lay it down and the areas discussed just don’t do so. Furthermore, given the texture and thickness of the hair grade it does not just lay.

This is an unfortunately and extremely disheartening and expensive experience to have to deal with as a customer. Having a unit that is suppose to last a year or more, that has such significant breakage in certain areas is just not a feasible possibility. My request was initially to go into a center for in person inspection to then have to run to my stylist for removal of my full weave and then installation of a new unit but your team has quoted this “testing” process as the only option. Which means I am suppose to do what with my hair until then?

I would have to then pay for a replacement anyway in the meantime and an installation of a new unit anyway. So it makes no business or economic sense at this point. I’ve respectfully requested an escalation of this matter to which I’ve received no direct options. I am contacting your team regarding this with images less than 24hrs after my purchase and hope to move this experience to a more positive experience.

I can easily be contacted at any of the numbers below.

What you are seeing is normal. It is just the returns from the shorter end of the hair that has been ventilated and pulled back through the lace.

Sometimes they just take awhile to tame or you can even cut them off (some people tweeze them, but I don't like to do that, especially unless you seal the lace/knots. As for the closure sitting that way, I'm sorry but that totally looks like a stylist that isn't very experienced with closures/frontals and how to best braid for them and install them.

I know this probably isn't what you want to hear, but I'm genuinely trying to help. Good luck.

Birds Nest

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Never again. I got the beach wave hair installed on Saturday.

Today is Wednesday. It is a tangled, dry, matted, crusty mess. Birds have been looking at my hair longingly. The wave has already fallen out, and I can't even run my fingers through it without them getting stuck in the web of tangle.

I have tried leave-in conditioner. Doesn't work. I tried to spray it with water. Doesn't work.

I paid waaay too much to be dealing with this. It looked pretty in the package, but four days in, and the hair looks like its been in four months. Not sure what to do with it now to even make it presentable in public. The lady at the store said this hair is "get up and go"; go where?

To try to find a bird who needs a home? Four days in, and I'm already wearing a hat.

Over $400 for the hair, and $275 for installation all to be wearing a hat a few days later. Will never, ever purchase Indique hair again.

Not good quality hair for the price

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Purchased the Tahitian hair 30 inches and body wave closure. I am so disappointing with the amount of money that I spent on this hair. The hair was tangling really bad until I conditioned it. Also, the hair shedding is ridiculous, I would have been better off buying some cheap hair from another hair company. I did report my complaints to someone at Indique and the customer service was great. However, they wanted me to send the hair back to have it looked at and tested. However, I just had got the hair installed and I just spent money for my installation. So I was not taking my hair out. I would not recommend this hair. For the amount of money I spent, there should be no shedding nor tangling. I just can't seem to find good quality hair, regardless of how much it may cost. Never again!!
